| Dr.
John McCreery Dr. John McCreery is an Associate Professor at NC State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and his Ph. D from Ohio State University in 1996. Dr. McCreery currently teaches BUS 564, Project Management, and BUS 570, Operations Management. His research interests are primarily in two areas: project management and issues of estimation and flexibility in work force management. He enjoys the interface between business and technical sides. Before joining NCSUs faculty in 1997, Dr. McCreery worked as a visiting professor at the University of Notre Dame. He worked as the Chief Operating Officer for a medical device company and as an Information Systems Consultant at Arthur Andersen (now Accenture) doing planning, design and installation of systems in various industries. He has also worked as an applications engineer for a cardiac pacemaker company. Dr. McCreery has been published in International Journal of Production Research, Decision Sciences Journal, Encyclopedia of Production and Manufacturing Management, and International Journal of Project Management. |
