While supply chains have been defined in a number of ways, in designing our consortium we decided on the following definition: A supply chain encompasses all activities associated with the movement and transformation of goods from raw materials through to the ultimate end-customer.

Most organizations are simultaneously members of many different supply chains which requires a range of management skills and processes: Supply chain management is the formal integration and management of supply chain activities to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage.

Our program integrates all of the key processes required, from new product development to end-of-life strategies.
