The Supply
Chain Resource Consortium (SCRC) was established to help companies
fill the void in qualified human resources. In partnership with
the College of Management, the SCRC is training talented people
who can take on these challenges. Our focus is to serve the needs
of member companies by bringing applied research and knowledge creation
to help them achieve supply chain excellence.
Specifically, the SCRC staff and College of Management faculty are
working to provide the following services, on a proprietary basis,
to member companies:
- Recruitment
- Student Projects
- Information web site
- Faculty research
- Semi-annual meetings
- Executive education
- SCM curriculum development
- COM access to member

Since
I arrived at the College of Management in 1999, one of my
goals has been to engage the faculty and staff in the creation
of a center of excellence focused on supply chain management.
Through our collaborative efforts, we have created the Supply
Chain Resource Consortium, a corporate-funded organization
housed in the Department of Business Management and charged
with providing access to supply chain information and services
to member companies.
Over the past two years, we have worked hard to bring together
a group of corporations serious about involving students and
faculty in the development and deployment of their supply
chain strategies. We hope this website will serve as a vehicle
for the SCRC to share with you the benefits this unique collaboration
provides.
